Vetramil paw wax with honey has been specially developed for the protection of dogs’ pads. In both summer and winter, the pads are in directly affected by extreme conditions such as hot asphalt, ice, salt, snow and rough surfaces. This can lead to damage to the skin and cause painful chapping. The high concentration of enzyme-rich honey in Vetramil Wax promotes the rapid healing of cracks. Beeswax forms a protective layer, as a result of which the pads stay in good condition under all circumstances and the bitter taste prevents the dog from licking off the wax.
Honey is made by honey bees; they collect the nectar from flowers for that purpose. The bees concentrate the nectar into pure, enzyme-rich honey. Honey has always been known to have beneficial properties for the skin. Its natural antioxidants and enzymes purify and soothe the skin. Almond oil contains a high concentration of vitamin E, which protects the skin against sunlight and oxygen radicals. Beeswax forms a water-repellent layer that provides protection against weather conditions and other extreme environmental factors. The essential oils in Vetramil Wax promote healthy skin and help prevent damage to the pads.

Directions for use
Outdoors, Vetramil Paw Wax helps prevent damage to the paw pads caused by extreme conditions such as hot asphalt, snow and ice. Indoors, Vetramil Paw Wax is eminently suitable to prevent paws slipping on a smooth or slippery floor, because it reduces the smoothness of the pads. For an optimum effect, rub a thin layer of wax into all the paws several times a day.
